Disappearing ink on my receipts is becoming a problem.
Many times, I need to refer to a proof of purchase for something or to make a return.
When I go back to my papers and find the receipt the ink has disappeared!
I can’t figure out what I bought or when I purchased it.
Snopes.com is suggesting that maybe retailers are using disappearing ink to discourage returns!

If ink disappears from my receipts now, I’ve learned how to work around it.
I take a picture of important receipts so in the future I can see what was on it.
I’ll be able to prove I bought something. Still, I ask why ink is disappearing on receipts?
