Diphenhydramine HCL it’s a sleep aid, allergy relief aid and Antihistamine!
I was looking for a sleep aid pill in Walmart. When I found Equate “Nighttime Sleep Aid” pills. The container had 100 capsules with 25 mg of #DiphenhydramineHCL in each pill. I bought a bottle and tried them to see if they would help me stay asleep at night. Sleeping at night was becoming a problem. To my delight they worked great. I was happy to find something that could help.
Diphenhydramine HCL was the same!
I went back to get another bottle and saw Allergy Relief pills for sale for $4.95. I don’t know why but I started reading the content of the Allergy pills. To my surprise each of the 100 pills contained 25 mg of Diphenhydramine HCL! That was the same as the “Nighttime Sleep Aid” pills that cost $5.95. The only difference was the color of the pills and the price. Each container had the same number of pills and the same Diphenhydramine HCL. The only difference was the color. Nighttime Aid pills were blue, and the Allergy Relief pills were pink.
Save some money and read labels.
So, you can save money if you start reading the labels and looking for cheaper alternatives. I saved about $1 because the Allergy pills were cheaper than the Nighttime Sleep Aid pills! Saving a dollar isn’t much but it is frugal!
You can find lots of pills by different manufacturers that have the same content and concentration. You will find the prices wildly different. Start watching for the price differences.
Many stores have their own brand pills. You can easily compare the pills with the different manufacturers. The prices will be different, and the store brands almost always will be cheaper. Why pay more for the same thing?
Read the labels and save your money.
