I’ve been shopping at Walmart for years here in Palm Harbor, Florida.
In our area there are three Publix stores! Most all the older people in
the area shop in Publix. The aisles in Walmart during the day were
not filled with old folks, until now. The word is out that Publix is expensive.
The increasing number of retirees shopping at Walmart is a clear indication
of how inflation is affecting their purchasing power.
Now when I go into Walmart in the morning it’s slow going.
The aisles are filled with old people going slow and looking at the prices.
You can tell they are all price conscious and trying to save money.
This is a sign that America is suffering from inflation no matter what the
politicians are saying. Retired folks are getting crushed in Florida.
