RVing the South East

This page is a work in process so please check back.

All about RVing in the south east corner of America.
There is lots to see and do and in the winter months, it can’t be beat!
I plan to cover FREE and cheap places to camp in the area.
If you know of any place I should include please let me know.

We live here in Florida and know of a bunch of free and cheap places to stay in Florida.
The rule of thumb is, the further south the more it cost!

Free Places to stay in Florida.
The water management districts in Florida own lots of land and that land
can’t be developed. So the state opened the land up to recreational use.
You can’t stay just anywhere there are designated areas to camp.
Also you must book the campground you want to visit.
You can’t just show up and get a spot to camp in at most areas.
These districts all have different rules for their areas.
You will have to do your homework to see what the rules are.

There are 5 water districts in Florida;
