Homer Alaska 8/18

My cousin insisted we go to Homer and see Hobo Jim’s show at AJ’s Steakhouse.
The drive down was about an hour and a half and on the way down we made a few stops.
Our first stop was Anchor Point. This place is the farthest west you can drive!

From here our next stop was Normal Lowell’s art gallery. The turn is easy to miss and
we missed it and had to turn around. We drove up a dirt road to a building where the
gallery was. The building didn’t look special but when you walk into it you can’t
believe what your seeing. This was an incredible art gallery.
There was a lot to see but what most impressed me was a wooden clock.

While in Homer we found the Elks Lodge and went inside for pins and
a drink. The lodge was very close to AJ’s Steakhouse and right on the water.
The Hobo Jim’s show at AJ’s that night was great!
Here are some pictures from Homer area.
