Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure Chart

Blood pressure is a big problem for many people.
The doctors tell you that “your pressure is high, take these pills”. The question is why your
pressure is high and what can I do to make it better?

Since most of us are dealing with high BP we should try to understand why our BP is
getting higher. Over I’ve watched many doctors on YouTube and done internet
searches. I learned, for me, it comes from insulin resistance. That is causing
inflammation in my arteries. I was overweight and eating too many carbs.
The carbs we eat are turned into the sugar in our bodies. That sugar causes us
to produce too much insulin. That insulin causes inflammation in our arteries.
This eventually causes damage to our arteries. Then the plaque starts
getting deposited in an effort to repair the arteries damage. So, the inflammation in the
arteries is the start of high blood pressure. Then the plaque is where the
heart attacks and strokes come from.

Eating!

What to do about it? That’s easy and hard at the same time.
Eat less, only eat unprocessed food, no factory-made food.
Have as little sugar and carbs as possible.
There is an article here on FW about Calorie Counting.

Exercise!

Then walk more and exercise. Get off the couch and out of the car.
I told you it wouldn’t be easy. We can all improve our health with some
easy lifestyle changes.
