Atwood RV Water Heater Repair. I posted this repair back in11/2018. But the website disappeared.
We were smelling some propane near the back of the camper and knew there was
something wrong. The only thing that used propane near the back of the camper
was the water heater. So I opened the panel and sure enough the solenoid wasn’t
closing properly. I could see a small flame still at the out port of the controller.
I figured out the model of the Atwood water heater it was GCH6A-10E.
Then I learned on the internet that the part number for the controller was; 93844.
Part 93844 Fits Atwood Models:

Maintenance can save lots of money!
With just a little bit of work and a couple of screws I had the controller changed out.
Now everything is working as it should. This small effort to repair the water heater
saved lots of money and maybe prevented a disaster.
