Geocaching cheap and fun

Geocaching

Geocaching is great fun. You get outside and hunt for treasures.

This is an activity you can do with friends and family.
It’s easy, all you need is a phone. All smart phones will work just fine.
There is a website dedicated to geocaching, Geocaching.com.
You can use the website to find geocaches in your area.
Most options to find caches are free to the users of the website.
There is a premium level and that does cost a little more, about $29/year.
Premium level membership is not required to enjoy geocaching.

The goal is to find a geocache.

Use the app to find a nearby geocache.
Once you find the cache sign the log inside the cache.
Then go back to the website and log your successful find.
That tells others that the cache is still good.
Sometimes the cache can’t be found.
Logging the cache helps others.
You can sometimes take something from the cache and
you can leave something. That’s part of the game.

Start navigating towards the cache. Once you get close you can review the
notes in the app and start looking for the cache. Caches come in all
sizes and shapes. You’ll find helpful information on the website.
This game is played all over the world.
