The company that the devices connect to can turn off the device at any time!
Tesla turned off 10,000 powerwalls!

Your car that is connected to the internet is subject to being controlled.
Someone can turn your car off at any time.

Someone can turn your appliances off at any time.
You don’t have any control of your own devices.

Save yourself lots of trouble and buy used older things that don’t have
computers inside them.
