Christmas is Coming!

Little Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Don’t panic
you have
nothing to
worry about!

We have lots of great ideas
that will save you money.

Frugal Class people don’t
spend crazy money
on the holidays.
There are simple rules
to follow.

Rule 1
Don’t go broke and don’t
charge anything!
When Christmas is in
the past you don’t
want any future debt!

Rule 2
Make a list of the
people you want
to give a gift to.

Rule 3
What can you make.
Also, look in thrift
stores for deals.

What to do?

Think about do they actually want you to buy them something.
Example, if you’re a grandmother of a young boy don’t buy him anything!
You could never get it right. They will smile and say thanks grand ma.
When you leave, they will be trying to sell it. Give them MONEY!
Let them get what they want or need, you’ll never know!

Never put gifts in a box and ship it. The price of shipping is crazy.
There can be a special reason to ship something but that’s rare, don’t ship anything.
Instead, mail them a gift card from Walmart or Amazon.
If they go out to eat a lot, you could consider a gift card for a restaurant.
Everyone buys food and a gift card for Walmart is always helpful.

Scams to watch for.

Only order gift cards online. In store gift cards are often compromised.
Thieves come in and steal the cards. They copy the card numbers.
They go back to the store and put the cards back in the rack.
Then people pick the card up and head to the register.
At the register and put money on the card and it is immediately
withdrawn by the crooks that put the card back on the rake.
Walmart doesn’t have a good track record for helping people that
get taken by this scam.
