Mini Camper 3 Build
This camper was built using all the great experiences we have had
building the last two campers. We learned you can’t have double
side walls because if water gets into the wall, you can’t see it.
The walls must allow any water that might get in to evaporate.
This camper was built lighter than the other campers.
There is only on 1/4″ plywood side. The inside walls are covered
with burlap. Burlap can let the air pass through. If for any reason water
should get in it will dry. The weight is less that 1,000 pounds.
The dimensions are 6′ high, 6 feet wide and 10 feet long.
Solar Power
I have 5 100-watt solar panels on the roof.
There is a solar controller for the two LiFePO4 batteries.
We have two sinewave inverters for power.
The 500-watt inverter runs the refrigerator.
There is an additional 2000-watt inverter in case we need
more power.
Where is it now?
This Camper is still in use.
We are planning to spend more time in it on
vacation to Texas and Tennessee.
