LG French Door Refrigerator
Our LG refrigerator never stops drawing power!
There is no cycle off time. I have never seen a refrigerator that
almost never stops drawing power. On average the
refrigerator is always using 80 watts of power.
On a very rare occasion I have seen it drop down to 5 watts.
But that almost never happens.
Watt meter on LG refrigerator.

We use solar power to run the refrigerator.
Because of that we are very tuned into where our power is going.
This purchase was a mistake. We should have bought a
regular old-style unit that would have saved money and power.

If you want a good efficient refrigerator, get a simple old-style unit.
They are cheaper to run and use less power.
Especially if you are using solar to power your house.
Our LG always draws 80 watts.
Then jumps up to 200 and back down to 80watts.
I wouldn’t buy this refrigerator again.

Reviews on LG refrigerators are not good.
There are lots of problems with the compressors dying.
Do your homework before buying.
