Tipping is out of control

Have you been asked for a tip from a business that didn’t do anything
special for you? Every time I go into a fast-food restaurant I get asked for a tip!
Order a pizza, drive over to get the pizza, wait for the pizza.
Then they put the digital pad in front of you and there it is,
“Tip: 15%, 20%, 25%”! No don’t tip; it’s got to stop.

My new rule is, no service no tip. We must all start being more diligent about this.
When you go into a fast-food restaurant and walk up to the counter.
Wait for them to come and take your order then they ask for a tip, no!
The folks behind the counter are doing what they do, all day long.
Nothing special that deserves a tip from you.
Tip the waitress that actually delivers service to you, that’s good.
Prices for everything are already too expensive.
We don’t have money for undeserved tipping.

CBS News did a report about tipping:
Tipping is on steroids.

Robert Reich has something to say about it. He’s not alone.
