Find a good mechanic and save

Larry the Mechanic

Eventually everything breaks!
Find a good reliable mechanic / repair person before you need one.
We had an alternator breakdown in my daughter’s van.
Usually, I would do the repairs, but this was going to be more
challenging than I wanted to be involved with.
To replace an alternator in a Town and Country van
you need to remove the wheel, firewall, move AC Compressor.
All that before you can start working on the alternator!

We found Larry by accident. It turns out he’s an excellent mechanic.
He knew how to replace the alternator and could do the job faster
than me. Larry was hired and soon after the alternator was changed.

Paying him for his service was well worth it.
He got some money, we saved some money and everyone is happy.
The same job in a repair shop was anywhere from $600 to $1,000!
It didn’t cost us nearly that much. He made more money than he
would have if he worked for a repair shop!

Find repair people before you need them.
Eventually you will need them.
