Firewood is expensive.

Firewood is expensive use studs instead it’s cheaper and safer.

#Firewood is very expensive to buy when you’re camping. You are not allowed to move firewood from one area to another. The problem with that is bugs. You don’t want to move a beetle to another forest. So, what can you do to save some money? Hunt for fallen trees or stop at the Big Box lumber store and pick up a 2×4″ stud. I have found many times a stud is cheaper than the chopped firewood. Another great thing about a stud is it is already dry and there are no beetle bugs in kiln dried lumber.
Home Depot 2×4 stud.

Palettes
If you can find some discarded pallets, they will work fine. However, they are a lot of work taking them apart.
