I have a lot of 2x4s hanging around so I cut them cut into 3/8″ strips.
Then stapled them together with some water resistant glue.
The plan is to use plastic pots inside or maybe just use the plastic bags
I get from Walmart. Object is to keep the dirt and water away from the wood.

This is an easy project for the holidays.

Karen made these using small pieces of wood we were going
to burn. She used rounded rocks we found in a creek in the
Smoky Mountains. Cheap paint from WalMart and you got it.
This would be a great think to make with the kids.
